Developing & Testing Industrial Lubricants in the Laboratory
Founded in 1952, Lubchem Specialties began as a chemical manufacturing and blending company focused on powdered chemicals, water treatment solutions, and industrial cleaning compounds.
In 1974, the company expanded into valve lubricants after acquiring a unique lubricant base stock from a major chemical manufacturer located along the Houston Ship Channel. Leveraging the versatile performance characteristics of this material, Lubchem developed a high-performance, hydrocarbon-resistant valve lubricant that quickly earned industry recognition.
During the 1980s, Lubchem entered the global marketplace and today proudly serves customers across six continents.
