Inhibited Cable Lube
Description:
ProCoat 438 Inhibited Cable Lube is formulated to protect braided cable from corrosion and deterioration during storage and transportation. This product forms a soft black film and protects wireline against rust, corrosion, and deterioration for up to six months or longer in severe conditions. ProCoat 438 Inhibited Cable Lube prevents rust and corrosion and includes an H2S inhibitor for improved protection. The sulfonate corrosion inhibitor additive inhibits against calcium bromide, calcium chloride, zinc bromide and sea water.
ProCoat 438 contains molybdenum disulfide to provide protection to the core of the wireline. Apply with a pressure lubricator, spraying, brushing or wiping on the line. ProCoat 438 Inhibited Cable Lube is available in 5-gallon pails, 16-gallon drums, and 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes.
